1. What Data We Collect

Session Data

Game type, casino name, net result (win/loss amount), session duration, mood at time of play, and any notes you choose to add. This is the core data SBCGuard uses to build your responsible gambling profile.

Profile Information

Email address, username, nationality, monthly budget, salary schedule, and experience level. All voluntarily provided by you during onboarding or profile setup.

Device & Browser Info

Standard browser metadata used to detect your currency region and improve the app experience. We do not fingerprint or track across websites.

2. How We Use Your Data

  • →Provide personalized responsible gambling insights, budget alerts, and session heat scores.
  • →Display anonymized session data in the community live feed — your real name is never shown, only your anonymous Player ID.
  • →Calculate aggregate community statistics (total sessions, top games, stop-loss rates).
  • →Send in-app notifications about budget limits or risky patterns you opt into.
  • →We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third-party advertisers.

3. Data Sharing

The only public-facing data from your account is your anonymous Player ID (e.g. SBC-A3K9XZ) shown in the community feed and leaderboard. No real names, no email addresses, no photos are ever shown publicly.

We use Supabase as our database and authentication provider. Your data is stored in encrypted Supabase infrastructure. No data is shared with casinos, gambling platforms, or third-party marketing services.

4. Data Retention & Deletion

Your data is kept for as long as your account is active. You may request full account and data deletion at any time by contacting us at the email below. We will permanently delete all session history, profile data, and your authentication record within 7 days of your request.

You may also delete individual sessions from your session history at any time.

5. Cookies & Local Storage

SBCGuard uses browser localStorage only to store UI preferences (e.g. dismissed announcements). We use Supabase session cookies strictly for authentication. We do not use advertising or analytics cookies.
